Palm announces website design and development for cutting edge new London spa destination, Damu

The Palm team worked closely with the Damu in-house team to create a website that prioritised user experience whilst also adhering to the aesthetics of the brand-new and innovative luxury spa destination.
Interactive design process
The Damu team had a clear vision for the spa, which provides an experience and treatment unlike any other. We needed to convey this in every touchpoint of the web design. Sharing design inspirations and mood boards ahead of workshop meetings meant our design team could create website designs that aligned with Damu’s vision.
Communication is key during the design process which is why we choose to work with design tools that allows our partners to leave interactive comments and feedback directly in the design. This makes the process of collecting feedback much more efficient and means we can get to the build stage of a project in a timely and collaborative manner.
The build
We launched Damu site in two phases. Firstly, a quick turnaround holding page was developed and set live with a sign up form allowing the Damu team to begin building brand awareness and a customer data base whilst our team focussed on the full website build.
To allow for seamless integration and to give the site space to grow as the spa develops, our development team built on Webflow. The website features a fully integrated online booking system and treatment menu as well as informational resource pages providing insights into the spa’s unique ethos and founders.
The launch
As a development and SEO specialist team, all of our sites are built with SEO in mind and go through an intense post launch audit programme. This is absolutely key for brand awareness and visibility.
This post-launch audit includes accessibility, site speed, technical site performance and more. Once live, our team also install the full Google Analytics suite as well as Meta pixel tracking, at this point we will also integrate any other tracking requirements.
As part of our ongoing work with Damu and The Mandrake Hotel, Palm deploys a full digital marketing strategy combining SEO, website maintenance and paid media alongside a targeted PR and paid social media campaign to ensure maximum exposure for the Spa’s opening on 11th February 2025.
